The Québec Experience Program (PEQ)

In 2014, we launched Proficient Overseas Education Consultancy & Development Department. Same year, we joined force with Lester B. Pearson School Board in Canada, to introduce overseas education & vocational programs in Montreal to the society. The Québec Experience Program (PEQ) is a new simplified process leading to permanent residence for two categories of applicants. The program allows temporary foreign workers and international students to apply for permanent residence from within Québec after completing a period of qualified work or approved studies.

Province of Quebec is the largest Province in Canada, Québec City is the capital of the province. It’s largest city is Montreal, it’s also the 2nd largest French-speaking city. Since Quebec has large demand of skilled worker, the government have approved PEQ programs in 2014,for students who want to study in Quebec and eventually immigrate to the province, the PEQ programs is ideal for them to combine quality education and fast track immigration. The Québec experience program (PEQ – Programme de l’expérience québécoise) is designed to accelerate the selection process for foreign students and skilled workers to obtain their CSQ (Québec selection certificate) for permanent residency.

The goal of the PEQ program is to rapidly issue a CSQ to workers and graduates who meet certain requirements. These requirements include: being considered a graduate or future graduate of the Quebec education system, holding Québec diplomas eligible for the PEQ program and having an advanced intermediate knowledge of French.

PEQ program. When the applicants receive their own CSQ, it’s also issued to their spouse or de facto spouse and dependent children included in their application.

Quebec is looking for talents, in particular those who have lived in the province and have hands-on experience in the work place. For students who are eligible, they can get easy and fast access to permanent residency. Diploma of Vocational Studies (Diplôme d’Études Professionelles, DEP) involving 1’800 hours of study, will be received by the successful graduate after the vocational programs. Application of CSQ will need about 5 to 8 months, together with DEP, Candidate can then be granted permanent residency.

Since this program is designed to provide high demand skilled worker in Quebec, successful candidate will be soon be starting their career in Canada.
